John Terry is considered one of the greatest defenders in Premier League history and has always appeared in top-10 lists.

He was part of Jose Mourinho's incredible team in the 2004/05 team that won the Premier League, setting unbreakable records in the process.

The England international has said one of those records won't be broken for a long time.

Terry made over 700 appearances for Chelsea, winning five Premier League titles and a Champions League crown.

Chelsea's unbreakable record

The retired defender shared a photo of players who scored against his Chelsea team during the 2004/05 season.

In that campaign, the Blues conceded just 15 goals in 38 matches. That record has never been touched since.

Thierry Henry (twice), Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Nicolas Anelka are some players who breached Chelsea's almost impregnable defence.

The defence was spearheaded by goalkeeper Petr Cech, Terry and Ricardo Carvalho. They kept a record-breaking 24 clean sheets in the Premier League, a number that has also never been touched.

Mourinho led the Blues to their first league title in 50 years, which they defended the next season.

"I recently got sent this list of the 15 goals we conceded in 2004/05, I can’t help but be annoyed but also very proud to be part of a great team. Going over the games and goals in my head thinking this should be 10 or less. Records are there to be broken, but I’m not sure 15 goals conceded in the @premierleague will ever be beat," Terry said on Instagram. 👊🏻
