Jonathan pays condolence visit to Yar’adua family in Katsina

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, on Saturday, arrived in Katsina, Katsina State to offer condolences to the Yar’Adua family, following the passing of Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua, mother of former President Umaru Yar’Adua.

He was received by Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, accompanied by the Deputy Governor, Faruk Lawal and other members of the State Executive Council as they proceeded to Yar’adua quarters, where Senator Abdulazeez Yar’adua received the delegation.

Jonathan shared his memories of the late Hajiya Dada Yar’adua while reflecting on their encounters.

“I used to call her mother of all because of her nurturing role that extended far beyond her immediate family and touched the lives of many across the nation”, Jonathan stated.

He sympathised with the family and prayed to God to grant the deceased eternal rest.
