South-East State Governors are presently in a crucial meeting with key stakeholders such as the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe.
Naija News learnt that the meeting is being held at the Government House in Enugu.
The meeting is being attended in person by all the governors from the Southeast region, namely Alex Otti of Abia, Hope Uzodimma of Imo, Charles Soludo of Anambra, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, and the host governor, Mr. Peter Mbah.
Although the purpose of the meeting was not disclosed to the media, it is speculated to be related to the security challenges in the area, the situation concerning the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, and the overall state of affairs in the region.
