JUST-IN: Tinubu Meets Wike Amid Hunger Protests In Abuja

Amid the ongoing nationwide #EndBadGovernance protests, President Bola Tinubu held a meeting on Thursday with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

While the specific purpose of Wike’s visit to the President remained undisclosed, it took place against the backdrop of protests in the nation’s capital territory.

Demonstrations were reported in several parts of the FCT, particularly around the Central Area, including the vicinity of Eagle Square, where protesters ignored warnings from security agencies to vacate the area.

A court order has limited protests in the FCT to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
