The Lagos Aviation Academy has expressed joy for producing the International Air Transport Association Best Performer in the Nigeria travel and tourism examination conducted in July 2024.

The IATA Best Performer Award recognises outstanding performance in aviation training every year.

This achievement, according to the school management, marks the fifth time that the academy has produced the top-performing student in this IATA awards category.

Speaking to journalists at the academy’s new location in Lagos, the Head of School, Bolaji Durojaiye, expressed delight with the student’s performance.

He said, “This accomplishment shows our unwavering commitment to delivering world-class training and dedication to shaping the future of aviation both in Nigeria and beyond.

“Our student’s achievement is not only a reflection of their hard work and dedication but also a testament to the leadership and innovation that Lagos Aviation Academy brings to the industry.”

Commenting, the best performer for 2024, Oluwafisayomi Layo-Olayemi, described the school as “very good” with the best instructors who were always ready to support students.

“The support I got from the school during my training made a difference in my performance. I chose LAA for its affordability and the desire to grow in my career,” the student said.
