The Fadugba-Ogunlewe Royal Family of Igbogbo, Lagos State, announced that it will commemorate the 76th and 50th remembrance anniversary of their patriarchs, Prince Amos Olugbosi Ogunlewe and Oba Festus Molaja Ogunlewe.
The royal family, in a press statement, stated that though the “two great sons of the Igbogbo Kingdom” died many decades ago, their memories and many human and infrastructural development impacts have continued to speak glowingly about them, many decades later.
The late Oba Molaja Ogunlewe was the first Adeboruwa of Igbogbo and the first educated monarch in the entire Lagos Colony. He reigned between 1940 and 1974, earning the appellation, “Oba Alakowe.”
