The 16-year-old sensation celebrated exuberantly after notching his first goal of the competition as Spain reached the grand finale for the first time since 2012.

After the final whistle, Yamal's father took to Instagram to post a picture of himself beaming with pride outside the Allianz Arena.

In a related publication, Legit.ng reported that Yamal has made history by becoming the youngest goalscorer in the men's European Championship.

The 16-year-old Spanish footballer achieved this feat in the semifinal against France in Munich, Germany, on Tuesday, July 9.

Yamal's impressive goal, a curled shot from 25 meters, broke the previous record held by Switzerland's Johan Vonlanthen, who was 18 and 141 days old when he scored at Euro 2004.
