Popular Nigerian blogger Linda Ikeji has publicly declared Davido as her favourite between two of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, Wizkid and Davido.
In a recent interview with Pulse, Ikeji was asked to choose between the two artistes and she picked Davido—albeit with some hesitation.
When asked, “Wizkid or Davido?” Ikeji responded simply, “Davido by far.”
Her choice did not come as a surprise to many, considering her long-standing feud with Wizkid. The disagreement dates back to 2016 when Ikeji published a report alleging that Wizkid had received an eviction notice from his Lekki residence.
The situation escalated when Wizkid angrily confronted Ikeji on social media, even threatening to send his 16-year-old cousin to confront her physically. The public spat went on for months, drawing widespread attention and intervention by the police.
Despite attempts at reconciliation, the feud between the blogger and the singer has lingered, and they remain estranged to this day.
