Manchester United’s new signing, Leny Yoro, was recently spotted with a protective boot and crutches at the club’s training base in UCLA, United States, raising concerns about a potential injury.

Leny Yoro, who recently completed a high-profile £52 million move from Lille to Manchester United, was forced off the pitch during a pre-season match against Arsenal, visibly struggling to bear weight on his injured foot as he left the field.

The 18-year-old’s condition is still being assessed by the club’s medical team, and manager Erik ten Hag is yet to provide an update. United are gearing up for matches against Real Betis in San Diego and the highly anticipated game against Liverpool in South Carolina.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are on the verge of securing the services of winger Ismaila Sarr from Marseille in a reported £12.5 million deal. The 26-year-old is expected to sign a lengthy five-year contract at Selhurst Park.

Sarr, known for his impressive stint at Watford, where he scored 34 goals in 131 appearances, as well as his contributions to Marseille, brings a wealth of experience, having notched up five goals and six assists in the previous season.

His international pedigree with 13 goals in 64 caps for Senegal, including a triumph at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2021, further adds to his appeal.
