Devakumar Edwin, the Vice President of Dangote Industries Limited, has said that petroleum marketers in Nigeria have written President Bola Tinubu to complain about the price of the locally refined products.
According to him, the marketers are complaining that the price of diesel which has dropped from N1,200 to N900 is affecting their business.
He disclosed this on Thursday during a Twitter Space session organized by Nairametrics.
“Petroleum product marketers in Nigeria have written to President Bola Tinubu to complain that the refinery’s local prices which have dropped from N1,200 to N1,000 and now N900 per litre are impacting their businesses negatively,” he said.
DAILY POST reported earlier that the Senate has postponed the public hearing on the alleged sabotage in the petroleum industry.
The Leader of the Senate and Chairman of the Senate Ad-hoc Committee, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele made this known in a statement on Thursday.
