Mikano International has disclosed that it will be sponsoring Eniola Bolaji, an athlete representing Nigeria at the upcoming Paralympics.

The company organised a gathering in honour of Bolaji at its Lagos office recently.

According to the firm, Bolaji has inspired countless individuals with her determination, strength, and unwavering spirit.

It noted that within a short period, she had accrued several medals and achieved many firsts, including being the first African gold medalist in a World Para-badminton championship and qualifying for the SL3 Para-badminton event at the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

“This is a monumental feat for a player who started her para-badminton journey in 2021 and is now ranked third globally,” it remarked.

Bolaji expressed her gratitude for the support, saying, “Having the backing of Mikano means the world to me.

“Their belief in my abilities motivates me to push even harder and strive for excellence at the Paralympics. I am excited to make my country proud and take Nigerian Paralympic badminton to the world.”
