Miss Universe Contestant Disqualified Amid Controversy

Italy Mora, Panama’s representative at the Miss Universe pageant, has been disqualified just hours before the grand finale.

The official reason for her dismissal remains unclear, but reports suggest it was due to an unauthorized visit to her boyfriend’s hotel room.

Mora denies the allegations, claiming her expulsion resulted from a heated argument with the Miss Universe Panama director, Cesar Anel Rodriguez, over the event’s poor organization.

She alleges her boyfriend revealed he covered her expenses, including a $7,000 dress, due to the organization’s neglect.

The Miss Universe finale takes place in Mexico on November 16, 2024.
