Mohamed Salah Speaks On Uncertainty With Future At Liverpool

Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, has signalled a strong possibility that he may leave Liverpool in the summer of 2025.

The 32-year-old Egyptian international’s existing contract with the Reds is set to expire in June 2025. However, Mohamed Salah has expressed his concern regarding the lack of communication from the club regarding a new contract.

In an interview with reporters at St Mary’s on Sunday, Salah remarked, “I’m probably more out than in! I didn’t receive any proposal.

“We’re almost in December, and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay at the club.”

Salah’s comments imply a sense of uncertainty about his future at Anfield, as he’ll have the opportunity to negotiate with foreign clubs starting in January.

Meanwhile, former Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has weighed in on Liverpool’s impressive form this season.

After witnessing Liverpool extend their lead at the top of the Premier League standings with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Southampton on Sunday, Aguero shared his thoughts on the significance of their current eight-point advantage.

Despite Liverpool’s strong position after 12 matches, Aguero cautioned against overconfidence, stating that their lead is “insignificant” in the long run. “Pundits are always quick to call the race, and my response is always the same: it ain’t over until it’s over,” Aguero remarked during an interview with Stake.

He highlighted that a slight point advantage can quickly change as the season progresses, recalling how he and his City teammates overcame an eight-point deficit to Manchester United during the 2011-2012 season to ultimately claim the league title.

Aguero acknowledged that while victories over rivals like Liverpool can provide a significant boost for Liverpool, he believes it is premature to make definitive judgments about the title race with so many matches still to play.

“Of course, beating Liverpool will certainly help, but it’s not wise to make such sweeping statements when the tournament still has a long way to go,” he added.
