MoMo promo enters week 8 as 66 winners receive major prizes

MoMo PSB, the digital financial services arm of MTN Nigeria, has announced 66 winners so far in its ongoing Refer & Win Promo, which has now entered its eighth week.

The campaign has rewarded six grand prize winners and 60 others with consolation prizes, marking a key milestone in the 12-week initiative.

The promo, which runs from April 3 to June 25, 2025, is designed to deepen financial inclusion and reward customer loyalty. Weekly electronic draws select winners based on qualifying transactions and successful referrals, with top prizes offering free airtime or data for up to 50 years.

Among the grand prize recipients are customers from Akure, Lagos, and Bauchi. One of the winners, Mr. Olajesu Oluwatobi from Akure, said, “When I got the call that I had won, I was really happy. The fact that I won’t be paying a dime for the next 50 years is a lot. Everyone has to get involved. This is real. If I can win, you can too.”

Mr Ajibosin Abdulramon in Lagos called the win “life-changing,” noting that the relief was significant given the rising cost of living in the city.

In addition to the grand prizes, 60 customers have received one-year airtime or data packages. The promo is open to both new and existing customers who refer others to open or reactivate MoMo accounts and complete eligible transactions.

MoMo PSB’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Phrase Lubega, said, “With Refer & Win, we are rewarding loyalty and making digital transactions more rewarding for everyone. We want every Nigerian to experience the convenience and benefits of MoMo.”

Weekly draws are broadcast every Thursday at 4:30 p.m. on MoMo PSB’s YouTube channel. As the campaign progresses, more Nigerians are encouraged to participate for a chance to win.
