The publisher of Naija Times, Ehi Braimah, has been selected as a recipient of the University of Roehampton’s 20th Anniversary Chancellor Alumni Award.
This prestigious recognition is a testament to Braimah’s dedication, passion, and outstanding contributions to his field. He will be honoured at an exclusive event on October 22, 2024, at the Lime Tree Suite, Elm Grove, University of Roehampton, London.
In a statement by Toby Udo for Naija Times Newspaper, noted that Braimah completed his MBA degree at the University of Roehampton in 2016 and is excited to be recognised among an impressive pool of talented alumni.
Also, Braimah expressed his gratitude, saying, “This recognition means so much to me, especially being part of a large community of alumni comprising great minds and talented professionals.”
Udo said the Chancellor’s Alumni Award recognises the outstanding achievements, success, and impact of Roehampton alumni worldwide.
Braimah’s selection is a reflection of his hard work and commitment to excellence.
“We congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition and look forward to celebrating his success on October 22,” he said.
He said, “In times like these, our collective safety and well-being must be our paramount concern. We urgently appeal to the AAUA management, the state government, and the security operatives to thoroughly investigate this incident.”
He further stated, “It is imperative that justice prevails swiftly and the perpetrators of this heinous act are held accountable.
The university community must be reassured that such a tragic event will be met with the full force of the law and diligent investigative efforts.
“The death of Emmanuel is not just a loss to his family and friends but to the entire AAUA community. His potential and contributions to our shared academic environment are irreplaceable. We mourn his untimely departure and extend our deepest condolences to his loved ones during this difficult time.
“We call on all students, staff, and the wider AAUA community to remain vigilant and report any information that may assist the investigation to the relevant authorities. We must unite to ensure that our university remains a safe and nurturing environment for everyone.
“The management of AAUA is hereby urged to enhance security measures around the campus and surrounding areas to prevent such tragedies from recurring. Increased security patrols, better lighting, and more accessible emergency services are critical steps towards ensuring our safety.
“We trust that the authorities will promptly and transparently address this incident. Emmanuel’s memory deserves nothing less than our commitment to uncovering the truth and ensuring justice is served.
