The management team of the National Assembly, led by Clerk Sani Magaji Tambawal, is finalizing logistics and technical preparations for President Bola Tinubu‘s presentation of the 2025 Appropriation Bill.
Naija News recall the federal government has proposed the sum of ₦47.9 trillion as the budget for the 2025 fiscal year.
The figure, which includes new borrowings of ₦9.22tn, was approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) during its meeting on Thursday, 14 November 2024 at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
In anticipation of this key event, the chamber underwent a thorough inspection to ensure all facilities are operational.
Deputy Clerk Kamoru Ogunlana led efforts to test sound systems, microphones, and audio-visual equipment for smooth communication during the session.
Seating arrangements are being carefully organized for Senators, House Representatives, and dignitaries, while security measures are being strengthened in collaboration with relevant agencies to ensure a safe environment.
