Nationwide Protest Is Not Billed To End In Peace – Atiku’s Ex-aide, Daniel Bwala

A former spokesperson for the Atiku Campaign Organization in the 2023 Presidential election, Daniel Bwala, has opined that the proposed nationwide protest by some Nigerian youths may not end in peace.

Naija News learnt that Bwala made this known on Wednesday while speaking with State House journalists shortly after meeting President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa Abuja.

Describing the intended protest as politically motivated and unnecessary, Bwala said members of the opposition party must see beyond politics and rally around Tinubu in his desire to transform the economy of Nigeria.

He acknowledged citizens’ constitutional rights to carry out peaceful protests, but expressed reservations, stating that nationwide protest is not billed to end in peace.

Bwala urged Nigerians to give the President more time to actualise his goals for the country, adding that Tinubu was not oblivious to the economic hardship.

He said, “I was delighted to have met with Mr President today to show solidarity with him for his tireless effort in addressing the problems confronting the Nigerian people.

“Mr President is genuinely concerned about the plight of our people and he is working hard to address them.

“Let us keep faith and hope alive, knowing that there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
