Netizens Honour Veteran Photojournalist Who Has Covered Nigeria League For 28 Years

Netizens are organising fundraising campaigns in honour of veteran sports photojournalist, Mr. Hakeem, popularly known as Ola photo sports.

He is alleged to have been in the sport photography profession for over 25 years, capturing images of the Nigerian players in the NPFL.

He plans to do an exhibition of his iconic sport pictures, and a way to raise more funds to get better equipment in continuing his profession.

In a trending ‘X’ post, @sarkingphoto wrote, “Support a Legacy: Honouring Ola Photo Sports’ Dedication to Nigerian Football.

For over 25 years, Mr. Hakeem, fondly known as Ola Photo Sports, has tirelessly captured the essence of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) With his camera. His dedication and sacrifice have contributed significantly to the league’s visual history. Let’s come together to show our appreciation for his remarkable work!

“ We’re organising a fundraising campaign to support Ola Photo Sports in hosting an exhibition showcasing his iconic photographs and upgrading his equipment to continue capturing the beauty of Nigerian football.
