A  non-profit Christian organisation, New Life Research Foundation, has stated its commitment to helping people to hone their talents for academic and research pursuits for spiritual revival, preparing them for effective service in the world.

This was disclosed in a statement on Wednesday by NELIREF.

According to the statement, NELIREF is dedicated to propelling interdisciplinary, technology-driven research that shows knowledge from several fields on a global scale.

NELIREF boasts of people mobilised as instruments of spiritual revival in various countries, from their platform.

The foundation’s objectives range from soul-winning to mission challenge, purpose discovery, scholarship mentorship, innovative tech-driven research, and professional and life training have reportedly equipped their members to take the crucial initial steps into the promised land.

New Life Research Foundation is birthed for those who are born again, and also for those who have yet to experience this transformation.

Their policies ensure that both groups can actively participate in their programs, proof that people are valued in the New Life Research Foundation community.

The statement noted that the NELIREF team is committed to innovative and collaborative research as it is their strength. The involvement and full engagement of young people are crucial in realizing their vision.

New Life Research Foundation is a Vision that came in 2013, to Pastor Dr. Ezekiel Hanior.

During the protracted six-month Academic Staff Union of Universities strike in Nigeria, the Visionary, Joseph Tsenum, read a book written by Gbile Akanni titled ‘The Journey into Your Vision’. This brought insight to him and the subsequent vision to form New Life Research to mobilize God’s children in and into different nations for revival using academics, research, and scholarships.

The statement also noted that this name New Life Research was received in 2013 as well. New Life Research Foundation is for those who have this new life in Christ and those who will come to have this new life in Christ whom the Lord will be used in different nations for revival using academics and research.

On October 23, 2017, Tsenum created a page on Facebook on that day and called a few people together with whom they prayed and started the work. While few people believed in the Vision, some did not believe in it from the onset.

In the same 2017, a few members he was working with, got scholarships and travelled to Europe while he was still in Nigeria.

After applying for a scholarship in Europe in 2018 and securing it in 2019, he travelled to Russia for his master’s program and by then, more people believed in the Vision of NELIREF.

New Life Research Foundation was formally launched on November 22, 2019. NELIREF was incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria as a Christian Academic/Research non-profit organization on March 2, 2022.
