An organisation aimed at empowering youths and professionals in self-development, Next Big Deal Hub, has expressed its dedication towards developing and strategically executing programs aimed at enhancing the sustainable economic recovery of the country.

The organisation revealed this in Lagos recently during its Empower Lagos Summit (ELS’24) themed; ‘Mastering the Art of Business Structuring and Profitability’, which saw various industry experts provide insights and opportunities for Small and Medium-scale Enterprises (SMEs), aspiring entrepreneurs, businesses that don’t have any form of support, mentorship, grants, and information about government policies, innovation and creativity.

According to the firm, “we are delighted to be a part of this initiative that has been able to share cutting-edge products, services, and projects through live demonstrations and exhibitions, providing attendees with firsthand insights into different sectors of the economy.”

The Founder, Next Big Deal Hub, Bukola Jaiyeola, pointed out that the program stands as a testament to its collective commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, driving economic growth, and creating opportunities that empower individuals and communities.

“Together, we envision a Lagos where innovation thrives, where every dream finds wings to soar, and where every individual is equipped to realize their fullest potential.

“As we embark on this journey together, let us embrace the spirit of collaboration, seize the opportunities that lie ahead, and chart a course towards a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

“Together, we have the power to drive positive change, to build bridges of opportunity, and to shape a tomorrow that is truly worthy of our aspirations,” Jaiyeola stated.

Also speaking at the event, Founding Partner, The Business Apple, Jayeola Okuazun, explained that technology is the only vehicle that powers or drives a business, as it is a tool for the business and not the business itself.

He said, “Ask yourself; What problem are you trying to solve and is the problem worth solving, cause not all problems is worth solving.

“Technology helps to scale and increase the magnitude of your impacts which in turn increases your profitability, it can help take your business across borders.

“For Brand Partnership stop thinking local. If you cannot think global, you cannot go global. Because as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

“As a young person, your focus should not be to run away, stay and build a global brand so you can travel out and thrive and not be a slave. You don’t need to japa, you can stay in Nigeria and create a global presence.

“Whatever you are doing right now, build on it, there is a difference between people who leave this country to wash plates and people that leave because they have impacts to make elsewhere.”
