Nigeria’s entrepreneurs explore new ventures at St Kitts Gateway Summit

The St. Kitts and Nevis Investment Gateway Summit saw a strong turnout from Nigeria, with numerous entrepreneurs and business leaders embracing the twin-island federation as their second home.

The robust participation of the Nigerian delegation highlighted their growing interest in St Kitts and Nevis’ Citizenship by Investment Programme.

Many Nigerians who now proudly consider St Kitts and Nevis their ‘second home’ enjoyed the exclusive networking opportunities at the Summit.

Prominent figures from industries such as oil, information technology, and real estate attended, further enhancing the event’s significance.

One economic citizen from Lagos was immediately impressed by the beauty and well-developed infrastructure of St. Kitts and Nevis upon arrival.

He expressed a deep connection to the African-Caribbean culture and heritage during the cultural festivities at the summit.

Several economic citizens attended with their families, creating lasting memories and expressing their desire to return frequently.

The Investment Gateway Summit took place at the Marriott Resort in St. Kitts and Nevis from July 10 to July 15, 2024.
Another investor, particularly from the oil industry, appreciated the excellent networking opportunities and expressed plans to invest further in St. Kitts and Nevis.

A Nigerian entrepreneur exploring second citizenship highlighted the island’s potential in sustainable agriculture, particularly in organic goat meat production. He stressed the importance of Caribbean-African collaboration for mutual development.

The five-day summit included panel discussions, speeches, and a tour of the country’s landscape and culture, concluding with a farewell breakfast at Kittian Hill.

Attendees also enjoyed a planned tour of Nevis, immersing themselves in the twin-island federation’s beauty, music, dance, and cuisine.

The Investment Gateway Summit 2024 was a groundbreaking event, the first of its kind hosted by any country, bringing together economic citizens, investors, and executives worldwide.

It coincided with the 40th anniversary of the Citizenship by Investment Programme, the oldest and most esteemed in the world.

Next year’s summit dates will be announced soon, with plans to make the 2025 edition in late April even more ambitious, aiming to attract a broader range of influential investors and industry leaders. St Kitts and Nevis are keen to build on this year’s success and expand the summit’s scope and scale.
