Nigeria’s Galaxy Backbone has commenced a partnership with the Zamfara State Government to boost urban and rural internet connectivity and e-governance.

The Managing Director of Galaxy Backbone, Prof Ibrahim Adeyanyu disclosed this when the Governor of Zamfara state, Dauda Lawal visited the agency in Abuja on Thursday.

Speaking during the visit, Adeyanju reiterated the agency’s commitment to providing unfettered digital infrastructure states across Nigeria.

He noted that through technology, the agency will continue to foster innovation, efficiency and transparency in governance across the country.

“We are committed to providing robust digital infrastructure, state-of-the-art cloud solutions, and seamless connectivity services to drive the digital transformation of your state and by extension, our dear nation, Nigeria.

“We believe that through this, we can empower your state with the necessary tools to foster innovation, efficiency, and transparency in governance and service delivery.

“Therefore, we are dedicated to working closely with Zamfara State to tailor our solutions to meet your specific needs and objectives”, he said.

Responding, Gov Lawal said upon his resumption there was nothing like e-government and other digital infrastructure in the state.

He, however, noted that the situation has changed in his administration.

“In Zamfara state we are committed to building a robust digital infrastructure to transform the way we govern as well deliver services to our people”, he said.
