Winock Solar, a Nigerian provider of sustainable energy solutions, has signed a partnership agreement with Cola Solar, a Chinese clean energy company, to supply affordable solar generators to 100 million Nigerians within the next five years.
According to a press statement on Wednesday, the agreement aims to address Nigeria’s energy challenges by providing solar stand-alone systems to underserved communities and businesses.
Under the deal, Winock Solar will leverage its extensive distribution network to promote Cola Solar’s innovative solar technologies nationwide.
The statement read, “Winock Solar, a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions in Nigeria, has announced an exclusive partnership with Cola Solar to distribute solar stand-alone systems across the country. The agreement aims to provide affordable and reliable solar generators to 100 million Nigerians over the next five years.
“This strategic alliance will enable Winock Solar to leverage its extensive branch network and market expertise to promote Cola Solar’s innovative products to households, businesses, and other users. The partnership marks a significant step in both companies’ shared vision to bridge Nigeria’s energy access gap through sustainable and scalable solutions.”
Speaking on the collaboration, the Chief Executive Officer of Winock Solar, Sanmi Lajuwomi, said the partnership aligns with the company’s mission to provide reliable and affordable energy solutions.
