Renowned Nigerian pastry chef, Favour Ikedinma, has made waves in the global baking scene by winning the coveted “Cake Artistry of the Year” title at the National Pastry Conference 2024 (PastryCon) in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
This highly anticipated event, held at the Park Expo & Conference Center, brought together top-tier pastry chefs and bakers from across the globe to showcase their exceptional skills in a variety of categories.
PastryCon is known for its thrilling live competition, where chefs go head-to-head in categories such as ice cream, gelato, chocolatiers, intricate cakes, and plated desserts. Favour Ikedinma stood out with her intricate cake designs, combining artistry with technical expertise.
Judges were captivated by her creativity, flawless execution, and attention to detail, leading to her triumph in the Cake Artistry category.
