Ojo, Lagos state - Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the release of certificates for the 2022/2023 graduating students for collection.

The fresh graduates are advised to proceed to the Examinations and Records Division at Administrative Block 2 to collect their certificates.

The certificate collection was announced via the university’s X handle (formerly known as Twitter) @LASUOfficial, on Wednesday, June 26.

According to the short statement, LASU said the collection venue is at the mCertificatesain campus, in Iyana-Iba in the Ojo local government area of Lagos.

“The University Management has approved the Release of Certificate for the 2022/2023 Graduating students. “Graduating students of the 2022/2023 academic session are therefore requested to proceed to the Examinations and Records Division at the Administrative Block 2, main campus, Ojo, Lagos for the collection of their Certificates.”

Legit.ng earlier reported that LASU announced 195 as the cut-off mark for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The university added that interested Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates must also have a minimum of 5 O'Level Credits including English Language and Mathematics.

The third criterion is that applicants must choose LASU as a first choice in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

LASU reacts to degree certificate found at ‘suya’ spot

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that LASU management addressed viral social media posts about a degree certificate allegedly found at a ‘suya’ spot in Lagos.

The university clarified that the certificate was invalidated because the surname on it was misspelt.

The school further stated that the certificate was recovered on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, describing the event as old news that should be disregarded by the public.
