No issues between Soludo, myself, APGA crisis over – Party Chair, Njoku

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Edozie Njoku has declared that the crisis in the party is now over.

Njoku emerged the legitimate Chairman of the party following the Supreme Court verdict that went in his favour.

The ruling also led to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, recognising him as the authentic Chairman of the party after a long power tussle within the party.

Njoku, who addressed the press in Abuja on Friday, said there is no face-off between him and the only Governor elected on the party’s platform, Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State.

He said the party is now in a reconciliatory mood, adding, “We have been moving around for reconciliation. You know when you’re doing reconciliation, you just have to be humble.

“I’m sure everybody here is aware of our struggle. I’m sure you’re aware that the struggle and the crisis in AGPA are now over.

“I’m begging the press, let us not overheat the polity in AGPA. All we’re looking for now is peace. There’s no crisis in AGPA. We have only one Governor, which is the Governor of Anambra State and there’s no quarrel between myself and him.

“We have suffered this crisis for a long time and now it has finally come to an end. Thank God INEC has finally recognised me and the Supreme Court has given its judgement in my favour. So, there’s no more crisis. It is all over.”
