Nobody can stop eight years of Tinubu -Umahi

The immediate past Governor of Ebonyi state, Engr David Nweze Umahi, on Wednesday, said nobody can stop eight years of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Umahi, who is the Minister for Works of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, made this statement during a stakeholders engagement meeting held at the executive chambers new Government House, Centenary city, Ochudo Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

He insisted that nobody, forces or human being can stop the eight years tenure of President Tinubu.

Chief Umahi however urged Ebonyians and South East youths to shun any attempt of staging protest against Tinubu’s administration, stressing that the nation’s president has the interest of Igbos at heart.

He further pleaded with the south East stakeholders, despite political affiliation and party interest to shun anything that is capable of stopping all the approved road projects in the south East.

The Works minister noted that the renewed hope agenda of the present administration on road infrastructure, especially the approved 477km road in Enugu, Ebonyi, Kogi, Cross River State, Benue and Apo, Abuja superhighway.

He said that the South East region should not do anything to disrupt the road infrastructural agenda in Ebonyi state and south East at Large.

“I want to advise South East youths to stop any involvement of any protest against Tinubu’s administration because the Nigeria president has the interest of Igbos at heart.

“There is no reason staging protest against Tinubu because he has done well for us, I mean the Igbos even in Ebonyi state. Therefore I want to thank Mr. President for the massive roads he has approved in South East Nigeria.

“This is most accessible president I had seen since my life and we are not taking your relationship with Igbo for granted.

“South East stakeholders despite political affiliation and party interest to shon anything that is capable of stopping all the approved road projects in south East, adding that the renowned hope agenda of the present administration on the road infrastructure especially the approved 477km road in Enugu, Ebonyi connecting to Cross river state and Ebonyi- Benue -Abuja road network. South East would not do anything to stop road infrastructural agenda in Ebonyi state and south East at large” Umahi said.
