Edo-born Nollywood actress, Ego Nwosu, has called on movie producers in Nollywood to stop producing substandard movies and storylines.

“Right now, I have featured in over 100 movies, some of which include: Fine Wine, Maia, Igbinogun, Head Over Bills, Volcano, The Photographer, Unrepentant, Love and Legacy, Baby Mother, Right Place Right Time, Someone Special, Closed Chapter, Divorce Settlement, All Out of Love, Dysfunction, Stereo Hearts, To All the Broken Hearted, Headtrip, and many others.

When asked about the directors she has worked with, the actress said, “The first director I worked with at the start of my career was Desmond Elliot. I met Desmond during a production happening in the estate I was residing in, in Lagos, and I spoke to him about auditioning for a role in an upcoming project. One day, he called to say there was a small role in an upcoming production, and I landed the role. My career picked up from there.”
