Popular Hausa praise singer, Dauda Rarara, has lost his Facebook account with over one million followers after Northerners mass-reported it.

Naija News reports that this comes after Northerns attacked the singer over a new song, claiming President Tinubu has solved poverty and insecurity issues in the country.

In the song, Rarara claimed, “Northerners have said goodbye to hunger, insecurity, and poverty,” attributing these changes to Tinubu’s leadership.

The song, which praised Tinubu for making Nigeria great and addressing hunger and insecurity, earned him a backlash, as Northerners accused him of losing his conscience over money.

The song was released days after Rarara’s mother was released by bandits who abducted her in Katsina state.

DSS Kills, Arrests Kidnappers Who Abducted Rarara’s Mother

Meanwhile, operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS), on Friday, successfully neutralized one of the kidnappers responsible for the abduction of the mother of renowned Hausa singer, Dauda Kahutu Rarara.

The incident unfolded in the dense Makarfi Forest, Kaduna State.

A high-ranking DSS source in Kano confirmed to the Daily Post that the operatives stormed the kidnappers’ hideout, catching the criminals off guard as they were allegedly sharing the ransom collected from the abduction.

Naija News recalls that Rarara’s mother was kidnapped about three weeks ago.

However, Hajiya Hauwa’u Adamu, the mother of the renowned Hausa musician and former President Muhammadu Buhari’s praise singer, was released by bandits on the 17th of July, 2023.
