The 28-year-old Nigerian forward, who scored once for the NPFL club last season, has signed a one-year contract with the Omani club.

Rangers Focused On CAF Champions League

Enugu Rangers captain Ugwueze Chinemerem has expressed the team’s full focus on their upcoming clash with US Zilimadjou of Comoros in the CAF Champions League.

The NPFL champions will kick-start their Champions League campaign at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 18.

This return to the continent comes after a four-year absence, and Ugwueze has stressed that they are ready for the battle, stating, “We respect our opponents, but we are fully prepared to secure a good result.”

Remo Stars Set For the Continental Tournament

Remo Stars’ head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede said he and his team are ready for the 2024-2025 CAF Champions League.

The Sky Blue Stars will be competing in Africa’s prestigious club competition for the second consecutive season, hosting Morocco’s AS FAR in the first leg of their preliminary round match at 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 18.

Ahead of the game, Ogunmodede reflected on their previous encounters with the same opponent and expressed confidence in achieving a better result this time.

He said, “We learn from our experiences, and I believe we will do better this time around. It’s our third time on the continent, and we’re more experienced now.”
