The newly promoted NPFL club Beyond Limits are not happy that the league’s body decided to disqualify them from participating in the league.

The NPFL disqualified Beyond Limits from participating in the 2024-2025 season because it is owned by the same owners that own another NPFL club, Remo Stars.

Beyond Limits wrote in a statement on X: “Beyond Limits regrets to announce that we will not be participating in the 2024-25 NPFL season.

“Although we are disappointed to miss out on the opportunity to compete at the highest level, we respect the decision committed to continuing our development and growth as a team.

“As a result, we are pleased to confirm that Beyond Limits will participate in the 2024-25 Nigeria National League season.”

NPFL champions, Rangers Football Club has officially announced the appointment of Felix Nwosu as the head coach of their youth team.

The NPFL champions tasked Nwosu with scouting and nurturing young talents across the state. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, including a CAF C coaching license and previous stints with various clubs such as FC Talanta of Kenya, Heegan SC of Somalia, and Dream Stars Ladies FC of Lagos, among others.

Why Sunshine Stars Changed Home Ground

Sunshine Stars have chosen the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium as their home ground for the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League season due to ongoing renovations at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Akure.

Chairman Bamidele Ologunloluwa assured fans of the club’s commitment to delivering a competitive squad and urged their continued support.

Flying Eagles Get New Head Coach

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has named Aliyu Zubairu as the new head coach of the Flying Eagles.

The NFF highlighted Zubairu’s successful track record, including leading El-kanemi Warriors to victory in the Nigeria President Federation Cup and securing the club’s promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Zubairu’s immediate focus will be to assemble and prepare a team for the upcoming WAFU B U-20 Championship scheduled to be held in Togo.
