Kano Pillars’ technical adviser Usman Abdallah, has emphasized the team’s determination as they prepare for their NPFL matchday 10 clash against Plateau United.

Following a tough week nine loss to Nasarawa United, Abdallah noted that the players are focused on moving forward positively. He highlighted the valuable lessons learned from the defeat in Lafia, which they aim to apply in their upcoming game.

Ahead of Kano Pillars’s clash with Plateau United at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium at 4 p.m. today, October 3, Abdallah expressed confidence in his squad’s resilience.

“While the loss was challenging, we are committed to advancing,” he told Kano Pillars media. He also acknowledged Plateau United’s recent performance, stating, “They scored with ease in their last match.”

Enyimba Coach Expects Tough Game Against Bayelsa

Enyimba head coach Yemi Olanrewaju is gearing up for a competitive encounter against Bayelsa United at 4 p.m. later today.

As the nine-time NPFL champions prepare to visit the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa, Olanrewaju noted that he is aware of the challenge ahead.

Last season, Enyimba triumphed against Bayelsa at the same venue, hence, the coach anticipates that their opponents will be highly motivated to avenge that outcome.

“We recognize that it will be a tough game. Bayelsa will come prepared, especially since we won the last match in Yenagoa,” Olanrewaju remarked. “However, we understand what’s at stake, and we are approaching the match with determination, aiming to secure maximum points.”

Nasarawa United Coach Calls On His Players To Be Resilient

Nasarawa United Technical Director Kabiru Dogo is calling on his players to display resilience and tactical organization as they face Rangers in their matchday 10 fixture at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

Dogo emphasized the importance of being more clinical in front of the goal to achieve a positive outcome in Enugu.

He acknowledged the challenges posed by the reigning NPFL champions but expressed confidence following their recent victory over Kano Pillars.

“We are aware of the competitive nature of today’s match, but our win has instilled a sense of confidence in us,” Dogo stated in a pre-match interview.

“We will focus on being resilient, organized, and effective in front of the goal to secure a favourable result in Enugu.”
