An industrialist and Chief Executive Officer of Serial 61X, Marvellous Taire, has applauded the economic policies of the Rt. Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori-led Delta State government.

Taire said, “The economic policy of Governor Oborevwori is gradually rejuvenating the tourism industry in Delta State.”

He added that “the governor has prioritised peace in Delta State, thus creating the enabling environment for businesses to thrive across the state.”

Taire made the remarks on Monday during the grand opening of Serial 61X Underground Club & Restaurant in Ugbolokposo community in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

He said, “Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori is doing very well in the areas of roads construction, security and lighting up of major cities and communities in the state.”

Specifically, he affirmed that “Ugbolokposo community is safe to do business as a result of the security measures the governor had already put in place.”

He spoke further, “Delta State is becoming calm and safe for business. There are lots of security operatives patrolling the metropolis with a view to forestalling any breakdown of law and order.

“Our governor is trying. He is doing very well. You can see what he is doing with Julius Berger in road construction and flyovers.”

Taire explained that he resorted to opening the restaurant business in Ugbolokposo “to bring back the night life of the city of Warri.”

He enthused, “We are trying to bring night life back. Deltans should expect a lot from Serial 61X Underground Club & Restaurant which has on its menu continental dishes, designer boutique, exotic drinking bar amongst others.”

He then used the occasion to exhort young persons to shun drugs, its abuses and addiction and to always pray for God’s help in their lives.

Popular Nigerian musician Oristefemi, a guest artist at the event, assured that “with the formal commissioning, Warri nightlife is coming back again.”

Oritsefemi urged Deltans to support Governor Oborevwori’s initiative by coming back home to invest in Warri “since the governor has systematically lighted Warri and other communities around it.”

Another popular Nigerian musician, DunCan Mighty, who also spoke with journalists commended Taire’s efforts by rejuvenating the tourism enterprise in Warri.
