Ogunsan recognised for excellence in security

A security expert, Ayo Ogunsan, has been recognised for his outstanding contributions to community safety.

Ogunsan, who is a board member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, and Chairman of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices in Lagos State, was nominated for the prestigious Award of Excellence at the 18th Africa Security Watch Awards and Conference, which held in Doha, Qatar.

According to a statement sent to Society Plus, his work in promoting security and safety in Lagos earned him the nomination for the Golden Star Award for Security and Safety Advocacy in West Africa, a recognition backed by the Security Watch Africa’s board of trustees, executive committee, and panel of judges.

The nomination underscores Ogunsan’s significant impact in the security landscape, particularly in safeguarding lives and properties in Lagos State.

Ogunsan who expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasised that it was not just a celebration of past achievements but also a call to action to continue his vital work in making Lagos State a safer place for all.
