Olu Of Warri Receives African Envoy On Youth Leadership

The Olu of Warri and traditional ruler of the Itsekiri people, Ogiame Atuwatse III, has praised the leadership qualities of Ambassador Prince Iwefa Aganaba, the new African Special Envoy on Youths.

The monarch made the commendation while receiving Aganaba’s entourage in his palace in Warri. He urged the visitor to excel in his new role by leveraging his remarkable abilities to drive positive change and uplift the lives of African youths.

Reaffirming his commitment to support youth welfare, the Olu  emphasised the value of collaborative efforts in driving meaningful change, just as he expressed gratitude to Aganaba for the gifts presented to him, saying he was deeply touched by the sentiments and kind gesture.

Earlier, Prince Iwefa Aganaba had expressed  gratitude to the traditional ruler.

He said he was delighted to find a strong alignment between his vision for the African youth and the royal father’s tireless advocacy for empowering youths to foster sustainable development while promoting enlightenment.

Prince Aganaba described the Royal Iwere Foundation (RIF) as a visionary initiative that addresses critical challenges in education, empowerment, and environmental sustainability with a steadfast commitment to uplifting the communities of the Niger Delta region, describing the foundation as a shining example across the African continent.
