The death has been announced of Mr. Olusegun Obadare-Akpata, who departed this world on Thursday, August 1, at the age of 67. Mr. Obadare-Akpata was a creative maven, whose remarkable talents as a production designer, film director, and actor left an indelible mark on the creative arts of Nigeria. His contributions to the industry and the lives he touched through his work would be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

According to a statement from the family signed by Adesuwa Isénérè, “funeral arrangements will be announced by the family in due course. We ask that you keep his loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.”
