Ondo State Government has given cheques of ₦34 million to 46 sick persons selected from the political wards of the state.
According to the state’s Commissioner for Health, Banji Ajaka, the monetary donation was part of Governor Lucky Aiyedetiwa Medical Assisted Programme for the residents who cannot finance medical needs.
Presenting cheques to beneficiaries in Akure, Banji Ajaka, noted that many people are affected by many ailments which they have limited resources to treat.
