Only Murders In The Building Season 4 To Premiere August 27

Season 4 of the murder mystery series Only Murders In The Building will release on Hulu on August 27.
In the trailer of the fourth season of the series released on Hulu’s YouTube page on Tuesday, the three protagonists, Charles Haden (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) are investigating the murder of Charles long-time stunt double, Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch).

Meantime, a TV script on the trio’s investigative business takes them to Hollywood where they meet actors Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis and Eva Longoria cast to play the trio, who shadow them in preparation for their roles.

New series cast include Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis and Eva Longoria who play themselves, Kumail Nanjiani, Melissa McCarthy as Charles’ sister and Molly Shannon as a Hollywood agent/producer. Returning cast include Meryl Streep as Loretta Durkin, Oliver’s love interest, Da’Vine Joy Randolph as Detective Williams, and Jane Lynch as Sazz Pataki.

Racking up 1.9 million views less than two days after its release, the trailer has netizens excited and looking forward to its premiere.

The second series streamed on the platform in June 2022, while the third season which earned Gomez an Emmy nomination in the Best Actress in a Comedy Series Award this year, premiered August 2023.
