The baton of office as the Irresistible President (2024-2025 Rotary year) for Rotary Club of Dolphin Estate has passed to Adeyanju Oyebola at the event that took place at 29A, Ikorodu Crescent, Dolphin Estate.
The baton of office as the Irresistible President (2024-2025 Rotary year) for Rotary Club of Dolphin Estate has passed to Adeyanju Oyebola at the event that took place at 29A, Ikorodu Crescent, Dolphin Estate.
“ I feel motivated to build upon the progress we’ve made and to bring fresh ideas to our initiatives. Moreover, Rotary inspires me to do good every day,” she said.
She said that despite the foreseeable challenges ahead, the club would implement targeted outreach programmes, enhance social media presence, and organise community events that would showcase the club’s projects and values, thereby attracting new members.
She disclosed her star project as interest free Micro credit to Petty traders while other projects would include payment of Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) examination fees on behalf of the less-privileged in the community as well as sponsoring of kids for Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA), fighting malaria among others.
She called on those who are yet to be Rotarians to do so and be part of a global network dedicated to service, friendship, and personal growth with a view to making a meaningful difference in their communities and beyond.
