The Oyo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Prince Dotun Oyelade, has pledged to work closely with the state Mobilization Agency for Socio-Economic Development (OYMASED), in a bid to enhance the dissemination of government’s activities.
The commissioner reiterated this during a meeting held at his office with a delegation from the OYMASED, led by its Director-General, Dr. Morounkola Thomas.
While emphasising on the relationship between the ministry and the agency, Prince Oyelade stated that collaborative efforts would go a long way in delivering the mandate of the Seyi Makinde-led government across the state.

In his address, Director General of the agency, Dr. Thomas, expressed his delight to be associated with the Ministry of Information and conveyed his readiness to work with relevant ministries, departments and agencies to achieve the sustainable development goals of the Makinde-led administration.
He said the agency was committed to engaging various sectors of the population, including market men and women, farmers and residents in rural areas.
He further outlined plans to create awareness about opportunities available under the current administration in Oyo State and encouraging widespread participation in the state’s development plans.
