‘Patoranking’s Sister, Husband Killed In Explosion’

Chioma Obasi, the sister of renowned Nigerian Afrobeats artist Patoranking, has reportedly lost her life in a tragic explosion at her home.

The devastating incident took Chioma’s life instantly, while her husband, George Obasi, succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

The news was shared by media personality Cutie Juls through an Instagram post on Thursday.

In the post, Cutie Juls shared a video of the aftermath, revealing that the explosion occurred shortly after the couple had celebrated both a housewarming and their child’s birthday.

Cutie Juls also noted how deeply Patoranking loved his sister and urged friends to support him during this tragic time.

Cutie Juls wrote, “Remember when I posted last week or so that his (Patoranking) sister passed away in a gas explosion incident in their home and the husband and child are battling for their lives in the hospital?

“The husband also couldn’t make it. He just passed away. Pathoranking tried so much. Buying tones of blood to help save his brother-in-law’s life so at least his nephew won’t be an orphan.

“Remember he loves his sister so much. Abeg, his friends should help check on him.”
