Former Sporting Lagos coach, Paul Offor said he has no regrets over his brief tenure with Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Kano Pillars.

Earlier this week, the newly appointed chairman of Kano Pillars, Ali Muhammad Umar and his board members, confirmed the dismissal of Paul Offor who was appointed by the former board of the club in June.

In a statement he shared on his X page, Offor, whose contract with Kano Pillars was terminated barely three weeks after his appointment, emphasized his appreciation for the experience and relationships he had forged during his time there.

The coach revealed that the decision to part ways was made amicably, with both parties agreeing that it was in their best interests to take different paths.

Addressing the players, Offor thanked them for their hard work, dedication, and professionalism, expressing his admiration for their talent and conveying full confidence in their potential for success both on and off the field.

“While my time at Kano Pillars has been brief, I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with such a passionate and committed group,” Paul Offor wrote on X.

“This decision was reached amicably and is based on a mutual understanding that it is in the best interest of both parties to pursue different paths. Although my stay here was shorter than anticipated, I have no regrets and cherish the experiences and connections made during this time.

“To the players, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and professionalism. It has been an honour to coach such a talented group, and I have full confidence in your abilities to achieve great things on and off the field.

“To the fans, the period might be short, but your passion for the club was evident and was felt with every breeze I felt in Kano, and I encourage you to continue supporting the team with the same vigour.”
