This marks the first time since the 2009-2010 season that both of these prestigious awards have been won by English players.

Foden’s outstanding performance, with 19 goals in 35 top-flight appearances, contributed significantly to Manchester City’s historic fourth successive Premier League win. Additionally, at just 23 years old, he became the youngest player to have won six league titles.

This is the first time that Foden has won the PFA Player of the Year award, after winning the Best Young Player twice in the past.

Foden’s remarkable achievements highlight his significant contributions to Manchester City’s success, including his 18 trophies with the club.

On the other hand, Palmer, 22, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City last summer was the Blues’ best player with 22 goals and 11 assists in 33 Premier League games.

In the women’s categories, Manchester City’s Khadija Shaw secured the Player of the Year award, and Manchester United’s Grace Clinton was honoured as the Young Player of the Year.
