PICTORIAL: FRSC Corps Marshal Visits Prof. Soyinka In Lagos

In his ongoing maiden visit to Lagos State, the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, on Tuesday, paid a courtesy call on renowned Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, at his Lagos residence.

During the visit, the Corps Marshal extended belated 90th birthday wishes to Prof Soyinka, expressing his deep respect and admiration for the literary giant.

Prof Soyinka commended the FRSC for its dedicated efforts in ensuring safer roads and promoting responsible driving habits. He provided valuable insights on enhancing the Corps’ services for the betterment of the nation.

The FRSC Corps Marshal, in response, expressed his appreciation for Prof Soyinka’s encouraging words and wise counsel. He reaffirmed the FRSC’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in their mission.

“This visit is a testament to our dedication to learning from the best and improving our services for the safety of all Nigerians,” Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed stated.

LEADERSHIP reports that Prof. Soyinka was the pioneer chairman of FRSC between 1988 and 1992.
