The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, on Saturday, led a delegation of party bigwigs on a condolence visit to the family of late Anambra politician Senator Ifeanyi Ubah in Abuja.
Ganduje was accompanied by the Chairman of Progressive Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma; his counterpart in Ondo, Lucky Aiyedatiwa; and some members of the National Working Committee.
This was disclosed in a statement posted on the ruling party’s official X account on Sunday.
The statement added that the delegation was warmly received by the widow of the Anambra legislator, Dr Uchenna Ubah.
It read, “The National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, and other NWC members joined the PGF Chairman/Imo Governor, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma & Ondo Governor, His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa on a condolence visit to the family of late Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah in Abuja.
“They were received by his wife, Dr Uchenna Ubah.”
The visit comes one month after Ubah’s death was announced.
The businessman-turned-politician died on July 27 in London, United Kingdom, at the age of 52.
