Former President Olusegun Obasanjo visited Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, at the Government House in Akure ahead of the governorship election scheduled for Saturday, 16 November.
Aiyedatiwa, a member of the All Progressives Congress, assumed the governorship following the passing of his predecessor, Rotimi Akeredolu, in 2023 after a prolonged illness.
The visit was highlighted in images shared on the APC’s official X account on Monday, captioned: “Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Ondo State, HE Lucky Aiyedatiwa #LuckyAiyedatiwa at the Government House in Akure. Ahead of Saturday’s governorship election, Obasanjo wished the governor a successful re-election.”
