Vice President Kashim Shettima visited Ibadan on Saturday to attend the traditional marriage of Toluwatimi Esther, daughter of Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji, and her spouse, Ayodeji Kenny.
Shettima shared details of his visit in a statement on X (formerly Twitter), expressing his delight at being part of the joyous occasion.
Joining the festivities were a host of high-profile personalities, including Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Monday Okpebholo (Edo), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Yahaya Bello (Kogi), and Dapo Abiodun (Ogun).
Also in attendance were Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin, Senate Leader Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu, former Osun State Governor Chief Bisi Akande, and many other prominent figures.
He wrote , “Today, I had the pleasure of arriving in Ibadan to attend the traditional marriage ceremony of Toluwatimi Esther and Ayodeji Kenny, children of Ekiti State Governor, His Excellency @biodunaoyebanji, and Dr. Oluranti Akinyemi’s families, respectively.
