Renowned Juju musician, King Sunny Ade, and reggae icon, Orits Wiliki, led a delegation from the Musical Copyright Society Nigeria on a condolence visit to the family of late Onyeka Onwenu.
The visit took place at the family’s residence in Ikoyi, Lagos on Tuesday.
Music producer, Kenny Ogungbe, shared photos from the visit on Instagram, captioning them: “Musical Copyright Society Of Nigeria MCSN Delegation To Pay A Condolence Visit To Onyeka Onwenu’s Family In Ikoyi Lagos.
“The delegation included King Sunny Ade (President), Orits Wiliki (Chairman), Mayo Ayilaran (Director General), Tee Mac MFR (Non-Executive Director), and Kenny Ogungbe GCOB (Non-Executive Director).”
Onwenu, a renowned singer and actress, died on Tuesday night, July 30, at Reddington Hospital in Lagos after performing at a birthday party.
