Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Jigawa State to inaugurate the groundbreaking Artificial Intelligence (AI) Expertise Blockchain and Technology Training and Outsourcing Initiative.
This programme aims to provide cutting-edge training and outsourcing opportunities to the local population, with a goal of training 1,000 Nigerians annually in these advanced fields.
During the launch event, Vice President Shettima emphasised the importance of equipping Nigerians with the skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving technology sector. “This initiative marks a significant step towards empowering our citizens with the knowledge and expertise required to compete on a global scale,” he stated.
The program is set to offer comprehensive training in artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, and related fields, preparing participants for a range of high-demand careers. By fostering a skilled workforce, the initiative hopes to drive economic growth and technological innovation across Nigeria.
“We are committed to ensuring that our youth have access to the best training and resources available,” said Shettima. “This initiative will not only create job opportunities but also position Nigeria as a leader in the global tech industry.”
