Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, on Tuesday, suspended two of his commissioners and two aides.
The governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, disclosed the development in a statement on Tuesday.
Bere’s statement was silent on the officials’ suspension, which, he said, was with immediate effect.
He said, “The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has approved the immediate suspension of four key officials.
“The affected officials include Hon. Chrysanthus Dawam, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and Hon. Jamila Tukur, Commissioner for Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality.
“Also affected are Hon. Dio Lamul, Special Adviser on Rural Development, and Hon. Moses Sule, Liaison Officer for Mikang Constituency.
“The suspensions take effect immediately,” he said.
